Hello everyone, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of the Cosplay for Science community!
My name is Matt, and I’m a postdoc studying brain imaging in people with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. These diagnoses are currently based entirely on clinical symptoms (kind of like saying you have “cough disorder” or “upset stomach disease”), so we’re trying to figure out better ways to categorize people based on biological tests.
I love to learn about anything and everything. Some people have said I have the curiosity of a child (and my wife might say the attention span to match ). That’s why cosplay is so awesome! There are so many new skills, lores, cultures, and aesthetics to learn about, and everyone is so excited to share what they’ve learned!
